2014 a year in review…

What. A. Year.

It’s pulling together a blog post such as this that I really get to appreciate just how many fantastic people I get to meet every year, and just how incredibly happy this job makes me. It’s a very humbling experience being invited into people’s lives, if only just for a day, and having permission to photograph them. This year I photographed weddings all over the country. I was lucky enough to shoot weddings in Jersey, C.I, Β Paris, France and it was also great to go back to Italy to help a good friend shoot a wedding in Lake Garda. I can’t wait to go back out there again in 2015!

It was a great end to the year finding out I was nominated for Wedding Photographer of the Year and got through to the regional finals. I’m planning a blog post about that soon so keep an eye out for that. I’d just like to thank my couples who voted for me and left such wonderful feedback – it really is greatly appreciated πŸ™‚

I need to give a great big thank you to all the couples I worked with this year. Thank you for putting your trust in me and allowing me to do what I love doing most.

It’s so difficult to pick my ‘best’ from over 15,000 photos but I’ve managed to whittle it down to some personal favourites. I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them πŸ™‚

Ahhh MATE. Absolutely brilliant work dude – the hiding boy; THAT silhouette shot with the Louvre in the background; the emotional dad with the hugging mum – just immense work man. Wishing you an amazing year ahead mate, and can’t wait for our trips!!

It’s clear to see that everyone at your weddings has insane amount of fun – so much laughter and smiles in these, coupled with such precise timing and humour on your part. A truly fantastic selection. I love the guys on the bus going over Tower Bridge, the B&W of the groom dancing with his gran, oh and the lightening shot is pretty wild too. Here’s to another great year!
