When Louise and Dan got in touch and mentioned that their wedding celebrations were going to be held in Morocco I was super excited. I absolutely love to travel, especially to places I’ve never been before, and all the people I know who have travelled to Morocco simply loved it. I can now see why.

Its a crazy place. The Medina in Marrakech is well worth a visit if you go to Morocco. Its a busy, face paced market area. A complete juxtaposition to the beautiful calming vibe of Villa Fawakay where the wedding was held. The other thing about Morocco is its hot. Really hot. We were over there the first weekend of May and it was easily hitting 32 degrees. The locals were telling me that in the heart of the summer it can reach 50 degrees! A pool is a must 😉

The wedding day was perfect really. Amazing weather, friendly, fun family and friends and a relaxed couple that let me do what I wanted. A wedding photographers dream! The only thing that nearly went terribly wrong was one of the ladies setting fire to a curtain during the bridal prep, literally inches away from Louise’s dress! The two black and white photos of the girls laughing below is the reaction from this ‘moment’. Thats what I mean about an awesome relaxed couple 🙂

I just want to thank Louise and Dan for taking me to Morocco with them. I had an absolute blast and I can now see why you love the country so much.
