Riva Lofts Wedding Photographer
Hi! I’m Matt Tyler and I’m a Kent based documentary wedding photographer. I’m lucky enough to photograph weddings all over the UK, Europe and beyond. Click here to read more ABOUT me and the places I’ve been.
One of my favourite venues in Europe is Riva Lofts in Florence, Italy. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a Riva Lofts wedding photographer on more than one occasion and always look forward to returning.
I can only book between 30-35 weddings a year and peak dates get booked up quickly. If you’re interested in booking me for your wedding or you’d like some more information, head over to the CONTACT page.
Documentary Wedding Photographer
A wedding day is full of emotion; happiness, excitement, trepidation, laughter, enjoyment, the odd tear and most importantly FUN. Its my job to capture these emotions in their purest, least contrived form. And thats what I do.
As a documentary wedding photographer, my approach on the day itself is simple. Depending on the option you book, I like to arrive around 2 hours before the bride is due to leave for the ceremony and I stay around 1 hour or so after the first dance. The evening party is one of my favourite aspects of the day so I’m often seen well over 1 hour from the first dance! We’ll take some awesome portraits (no cheese) and a few group photos but most of all I like to leave you to have the best day of your lives with your friends and family.

“Matt instantly put us at ease, was a great communicator and was very interested in who we were and what we liked so that he could represent our day in the best way possible. From the moment he arrived, all the guests and I loved his welcoming, natural and noninvasive approach. The end product was just phenomenal. His style of photography really captures the true essence of the day, looking back at the photos was like reliving the whole day!”
