Something a bit different this Monday morning. 10 frames from my street photography portfolio. These were taken all over the world, from London to Myanmar, Rome to Cuba.

I absolutely love street photography. It’s such a huge inspiration to me, not only in how I work as a wedding photographer, but what actually inspires me to pick up a camera in the off-season.

Practicing your craft is tricky as a wedding photographer, especially when you’re starting out. Street photography can help you build those ‘photographic muscles’ when you aren’t shooting a wedding and help you improve your technical skills, as well as your moment anticipation skills.

Over at @anystory.education we’re hosting a small street photography meet-up in London on Thursday 23rd March. We’d love to have you along! Totally free and no experience necessary! I’m an open book and would love to answer any questions and hopefully help some fellow photographers get inspired on the streets 😁
