Ardington House Wedding Photographer // Emily + Andy
We love them! Every time I look at them I relive the day, it’s certainly made this dull Monday morning at work more bearable! It really was great having you there on the day, I knew we would be in safe hands and you didn’t disappoint, several people commented on how unobtrusive you were (having been to a wedding the weekend before last where the photographer was right up in the couple’s grill for the first dance, I realise how important that is – it looked so awkward!) and also what a lovely attitude you had.
Fun fact: I went to school with Emily! When she got in touch and asked if I was available for her Ardington House wedding I was so pleased to be available. I always love photographing the weddings of old school friends and this was absolutely no exception. It’s so lovely to see how happy and successful people have become.
Emily and Andy’s wedding was actually the same day as England’s semi-final match of the World Cup 2018! It in no way overshadowed the day and to be honest I think most people – with the exception of the few guys who were sneakily watching it on their phones! Evidence below! – most people forgot about it.

Ardington House is such a beautiful venue – everything about it screams class! The grounds are immaculate and the outside area where the ceremony was hosted was stunning. The staff were really helpful – a big plus in my eyes! – and it was clear that everyone was having an amazing day :)
Thank you so much to Emily and Andy for having me along to document their wedding day! Take a look at some of my favourites from an amazing day below…
For the photographers; everything was shot using Fuji x-Pro2′s and a combination of the 16mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm prime lenses. Any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to ask.
Lovely work Matt. Beautiful light in those portraits.
Thanks so much Tarik, much appreciated!
