Jodie + Josh // Beautiful micro wedding on a boat

Oh my goodness! These are SO incredible!!! You’re ridiculously talented, thank you so much! We’ve just watched through the slideshow and loved them all, we’re seeing some family later so trying to have some self control to wait to see the rest until then ☺️ can’t wait to show them all 😁

Jodie + Josh

Now I’m not going to go on about how devastating this year has been for the wedding industry or how I never in a million years expected my tenth year in business to be quite like this, as I’m sure you all understand and have probably been equally affected by the dreaded C word. So when I got to photograph a wedding filled with such love and warmth, despite having pretty much all of their plans disrupted in one way or another, it fills me with hope and excitement for the future.

Jodie and Josh managed to pull their wedding together in less than a week. You read that right – less than a week! Once the government announced that the restrictions for weddings were going to go from 30 to 15 they decided enough was enough and they were going to pull together a wedding in a few days to make the most of the 30 person rule. And my what an incredible effort.

Beautiful Micro Wedding

You would be entirely justified in thinking this was a wedding that took months to plan. It was absolutely fantastic. Talk about a community of friends and family coming together in adversity to help make something beautiful. Josh managed to secure the venue he works at – which just happens to have a massive boat that can cater for large groups of people! Honestly, it was one of my favourite weddings I’ve photographed, not just because of the venue, etc, but because it felt amazing to be part of something so positive in what’s been a really difficult year.

Thank you so much Jodie and Josh for having me along for the ride! ❤️

For the photographers; everything was shot using Fuji x-Pro2′s and a combination of the 16mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm prime lenses. Any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to ask.
