Spending a weekend with Hilbre + Andrew (aka Rooster) as their Retiro Sambana wedding photographer was without question one of the best weekends I had last year! These guys know how to party!! In fact I don’t think the partying stopped for over 3 days!!

Hilbre’s Mum, Jane, is an amazing wedding photographer in her own right so there was a little bit of extra pressure on this occasion as I knew she’d be walking around get some amazing photos herself. I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and I certainly feel like I made a bunch of new friends after this trip – which coincidentally was my last destination wedding of 2019 – what a way to end the travelling year!

Retiro Sambana is an incredibly beautiful venue – truth be told its hard to take a bad photo in a venue this good! Tara from We Do Unique Weddings took care of the planing and coordination and she did a fantastic job. All in all it was just a joy to be part of.
