When Carrie + Key asked me to be their Pembroke Lodge wedding photographer I was over them moon! I’ve photographed weddings at Pembroke Lodge a couple of times in the past and it’s always been great fun. I have high expectations for the weather when I work here as it always seems to be an amazing day! Fortunately Carrie + Key’s wedding was no exception ????

Carrie began her bridal preps at a local hotel where I was really able to get stuck in and create some dynamic, layered images – my favourite! I’m always looking to try and add elements to a frame to make it more interesting so getting in close and layering up the frame is a high priority of mine.

I love the new outside area at Pembroke Lodge. Having a private outside space is a great touch, especially on lovely sunny days. A beautiful meal was followed by a short speech from Key and then onto a chilled afternoon reception and pumping party. I made the use of the beautiful evening light and took Carrie + Key out for a short informal portrait session.

I must give a shout out to my other business – INSTABOX. Me and my fianceé run this super cool photobooth business where the entire emphasis is on fun and looking good in the venue.
