We love the photos! And smiled a lot looking at them thinking back to the day. You’ve captured really lovely and fun moments. We’re so very happy. Thank you very much.
Clair + Nick held their winter wedding at the beautiful St Stephens in Rosslyn Hill, London. It’s an old church that is now privately hired out for weddings and events, meaning you can actually hold your reception and ceremony in the same space, exactly as Clair + Nick did.
I get to see a lot of absolutely stunning wedding dresses and outfits throughout the year, but I’ve got to say that I thought Clair’s was incredible – a true work of art! The dress was designed and created by Charlotte Wilden of Wilden Bride.
Clair + Nick are both involved in the entertainment business so they certainly know how to throw a party! Once we’d finished at St Stephens we all boarded a bus and headed into Camden to party the night away at The Jazz Cafe – a venue that means a lot to Clair + Nick as its where they went on their first date and have had many since! :)
Winter Wedding Photographer
Being a winter wedding photographer can be tricky at times as you’re having to work with a lot less light and generally shorter days. I’m a very experienced winter wedding photographer so I’m used to working in these sorts of conditions. I use available light as much as possible so I’ve got an eye for seeking out the best spots of light. I also use the best low-light camera equipment so I know I can have complete trust in my gear.
Take a look at some of my favourite photos from a beautiful day below…
For the photographers; everything was shot using Fuji x-Pro2′s and a combination of the 16mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm prime lenses. Any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to ask.
Impressive work, Matt! May I know how you kinda hide yourself during an event to capture a more photojournalistic photos? And, what’s the maximum ISO before it starts to produce grain for the xpro 2? I’m using X-T2. Thanks!
Thank you! I don’t really ‘hide’ so to speak – I just tend to immerse myself into the wedding. When people don’t see you as ‘the photographer’ they show a different side of themselves. I’m happy to push the ISO up to 12800 on my x-pro2’s. I hope you’re enjoying your xt2
