Jon and Nick had their beautiful Lympne Castle wedding back in January this year. There was fresh snow on the ground and the sun was out in full force – a perfect winter wedding! The guys looked so dapper in their suits. I loved the subtle matching details.
Lympne Castle Wedding
Winter weddings can be tricky to photograph, mainly as the light goes early and you’re forced to really look for nice pockets of light. Lympne Castle weddings are great in the winter as despite having a rather dark wooden interior there are plenty of windows all over the place. The sun actually sets down behind the castle making the absolute most of the natural daylight.
The guys also hired INSTABOX – mine and Ellen’s kent photobooth company. It looked so good in the Castle – exactly the sort of venue we had in mind when we were designing it! Check out or website for more details > www.instabox.co.uk

For the photographers; everything was shot using Fuji x-Pro2′s and a combination of the 16mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm prime lenses. Any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to ask.
I love every single image from this wedding Matt!
You’ve captured that beautiful winter light so well. Great images and some lovely moments preserved for the couple forever
Beautiful storying telling images, love the one of the child hiding behind the door playing hide and seek
Great use of light and you captured so many great emotions. They must be thrilled with these, well done Matt.
