Composition : Light : Moment // Number 1 UK Wedding Photojournalist

Well this blog post sure was a labour of love!

It was so much fun looking through all the weddings I shot in 2017 but trying to narrow down so many thousands of photos into some form of ‘favourites’ was almost impossible. I could have picked hundreds of photos to feature in this blog post but instead I tried my best to get it down to 100. I failed miserably I’m afraid as I couldn’t get it lower than 115 – close enough!!

I decided to focus nearly exclusively on moments again this year – it is after all my passion and what drives me as a photographer. The loose title of my end of year slideshow is Composition : Light : Moments. These are the 3 factors I aim for in each and every frame. With that said there are often times when moment trumps everything else. I can talk for hours on this and therefore its probably a topic for another blog post entirely.

UK Number 1 Wedding Photojournalist

I’d like to thank all of the incredible couples who entrust me with their wedding stories and who put their trust in me to capture their day in my own unique way. I can’t thank you enough for letting me in to your lives, if only for a brief time. It’s truly an honour.

To all of the couples who have already booked me to photograph your weddings in the coming years – WHOOP WHOOP!! It’s going to be immense! :D

So here you go, take a look at some of my favourites from an amazing year below…

For the photographers; everything was shot using Fuji x-Pro2′s and a combination of the 16mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm prime lenses. Any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to ask.

Finally got round to looking at this – and wow- it is amazing! So many stellar photos, but I think my favourite is the airborne kid with the balloons and the carousel horse. Just perfect.

You are seemingly the master of confetti moments, reflections, underpants and kids injuring themselves. Some great moments here easily missed, but you didnt. Excellent work.

Masterful work mate. Like you say, Composition, Light, Moment. That’s what it’s about and you’ve got all 3 in abundance here.
