I often pinch myself when I get amazing enquiries to photograph backdrops beautiful weddings in incredible locations – and this was certainly one of those times! Claire and Ant were guests at a couple of previous weddings I’ve photographed so they knew first hand what to expect from me. I know I always bang on about it but trust is so important when you’re working with a photographer, particularly on a wedding day. It’s safe to say I had Claire and Ant’s trust from day one.

The stunning location was Suites Alba Resort in The Algarve, Portugal. This place really needs to be seen to be believed. The views and landscapes that surround the resort are breathtaking. As soon as I saw the big cliff structure I just knew we had to make the most of it, and all being well, it would be during the best light of the day. Claire and Ant were totally up for it and I think it was worth it :)

Now I absolutely love to party but these guys showed me a thing or two! I don’t think they stopped dancing for about 5 hours!! This is the exact reason I don’t limit my coverage in my ‘full day’ coverage option. There is so much potential for amazing photos later on into the evening!
