I don’t think I’ve ever worked with such a relaxed couple in all my years as a wedding photographer! Emily + Curtis were an absolute dream. They planned their wedding to perfection and were totally prepared on the day to let it go and just enjoy themselves. I could have included a thousand photos of them laughing together and with their guests. Honestly, it was an absolute joy to photograph their wedding.

The Tithe Barn in Lenham, Kent is a fantastic venue if you’re prepared to treat it like a blank canvas. You can more or less do whatever you want with it! Emily and her family have an incredible eye for detail which resonated through the entire venue. The flowers and table decorations were so beautiful. I heard so many people comment on how beautifully designed the entire wedding was. The attention to detail didn’t stop at the decor either – Emily’s mum actually made her wedding dress!! It doesn’t get more personal than that.

I must admit I really loved the little lego figures in the boys button holes. Each one was a different Star Wars character – of course Curtis had Boba Fett – arguably the best character in the Star Wars universe ;) The table names were all locations from Curtis’ favourite comics. A truly geeky touch but an awesome geeky touch nevertheless!
